Better known as an actor with extensive credits in television, film and theatre, played The Chief in Channel 4’s Shameless, ran Mr Patel’s corner shop in Waterloo Road and was Dennis Waterman’s landlord, Clive, in Stay Lucky.   Also appearing in all the usual soaps, Coronation Street, Casualty, The Bill etc.  As a writer, the play “Tadpoles” was performed by M6 Theatre on tour throughout the Northwest and also in the BC Buds Festival in Vancouver.  "Tadpoles" revised in the summer of 2016.  Whilst doing Shameless, was invited to get involved in their Shadow Writing Scheme: also took part in a scheme, the BAME Initiative, to write storylines for the soap Emmerdale.  Prior to becoming an actor was a prog rock musician, playing throughout the world and had three albums released.  Son Sean is a member of the Boy Band, Five.
