When vocalist T defies her sexist husband Colin and goes off for a shopping spree with keyboard player Jeannie, she discovers the four African statues. The legend suggests male chauvinists will not be treated kindly by the statue Goddesses, so the trip doesn't bode well for Colin.
This sample chapter is part of a Dragons' Den submission to make an audio version of the book and ultimately put it on screen. The actors are from Northern Broadsides and all the music is provided by them and by old friends.
